Apples Again

This week I read a story about a boy who wrote letters and sent them in apple boxes around the world. I tried to write a letter just like him.

Dear Friend

Hi my name is Justin and I am 9 years old and I live in Auckland, it is very cold over here and it is hot here. I wish I could be there where-ever you are.
I go to St Pius X school. We are a catholic school and we go to a catholic Church. I hope you like the apples.

Prayer time

Wow! Monday and everyone lined up and Miss G said “room 3 stand up and go to your class room and go inside and sit in a circle”.

Miss G lit the candle and one of the leaders said “can we make the sign of the cross” and the other leader said a prayer. The other leader said the our father and we said the sign of the cross. Prayer time was finished with one of the leaders blowing out the candles.

I feel quiet when I prayed and calm.
